bilal khan Age: 27 1141 days old here Total Posts: 663 Location: Karachi, Pakistan Status : Offline	Subject : i7 620m or i7 720qm for games?? hi.......im stuck as i ve to buy a gaming laptop for modern games like gta iv,just cause 2 ,gears of war,assassin creed 2,codmow2 and crysis etc.........now the problem is that what shuld i get i7 620m (dual core with 2.8ghz clock speed ) or i7 720qm(quad core but with 1.5 ghz clock speed).........i know that games now adays use quad but i20qm has low clock speed while 620m has a higher clock speed but is dual core..............soooooo what should i get????? aap logon ki meharbani ho gi agar ap answer gta iv aur splinter cell conviction ya gears of war 2 ki example de kar karen.....................plzzzzzzzz help!!!!!!

Depends on your other specs too as in which GPU will you use?... And this is the PC Gaming Section, Such Queries should be posted in the PC Helpdesk Section, Anyways Mods will take care of it.. Let me now the other specs...

As for the CPU, I would say the i7 720QM will be good as its a Quad Core and that's what GTA4 Loves, But the clock speed is rather low but Turbo upto 2.80Ghz is good enough...

anil Age: 27 1236 days old here Total Posts: 455 Location: karachi, Pakistan Status : Offline	Choose one which has dedicated video memory, and at least an 8xxx series (HD 2xxx series for ATI equivalent) or better GPU. The GPU and associated video memory is the most important component of a gaming PC. Most game engines don't use multiple cores efficiently, I would go for the Dual core one.
